Lizzy graduated with a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies from Bath Spa University in 2012. Since graduating she has worked for a number of dance companies across the South teaching a variety of ages from children through to adults. Lizzy completed a year long apprenticeship in Cascade Dance, a regional dance company following graduation, focussing on teaching dance, performance and administration. She then went on to become a freelance dance practitioner for the company and performed with their adult dance collective. She has also been the Company Administrator for Jasmin Vardimon Company, an international touring dance company.
Most recently Lizzy has taken a ‘Leading Dance for Early Years’ course, and participated in various workshops and courses with The Sensory Sessions. She also holds teaching qualifications in Aerial Hoop, Aerial Hammock and Pole Fitness. Her experience in aerial and pole has taken her around the country competing and performing.
After recently having a little boy, Lizzy has been inspired to bring the joy of creative movement and the developmental opportunities it can bring to babies as well as children. Specialising in contemporary, creative dance and early years practice, Lizzy has a passion for bringing fun, creativity and inspiring confidence in participants.
